Adele Marcus:

Grand Dame of the Golden Age of the Piano

Adele Marcus, pupil of the legendary pianists Josef Lhevinne and Artur Schnabel, graced the world's stages before dedicating her art to teaching at The Juilliard School in New York in 1954. This page is an eternal tribute to Ms. Marcus, featuring recordings found in her apartment after her passing in 1995. I invite you to listen and enjoy the divine artistry of Adele Marcus. Her impeccable taste and singing sound were her hallmarks. As one of her students at The Juilliard School from 1977-1985, it is with the greatest respect and sincerity that I bring this musical collage of Ms. Marcus to you.
